CELLS
Table lamp Cells. Created by pounding a ball-peen hammer into a stainless steel bowl. Inside the lamp I managed to create an interesting structure that looks like individual cells that together create a sun-like effect. This is not only an aesthetic goal, but it also reflects light well, so as a work lamp it can be used more than well. The rawness of the lamp was the intention from the very beginning of the design. I wanted to achieve a certain cyber punk aesthetic, and thanks to the scratches on the shade and the raw steel tube there is a certain honesty and weight to it that I took inspiration from brutalist architects such as Gottfried Böhm or Karel Pragr.
