Summer camp — Ondrej Cizmar

During the summer of 2024, I organized a creative residency for my friends and colleagues from the Industrial Design Studio at Die Angewandte in Vienna. The residency took place in Vysočina, Czechia, where we worked with ceramics and offcuts from jatoba wood.

The main goal was to come together, create freely, and recharge for future projects—without external expectations or pressure. It was a space for open collaboration, where ideas could flow organically. Throughout the residency, we experimented with different forms and materials, resulting in a diverse collection of objects, including vases, candlesticks, and ashtrays.
